Lasers
Laser mapping draws on a building, a stage or a car with lines of pure light. It is sharper and brighter than most people expect, and it reads from a long way off, which makes it a strong tool for reveals and branded moments. Laser Saga creates laser animation in-house and has mapped forts, headquarters, cars and stages across the region.
Also called: laser logo, laser graphics, laser animation, laser drawing, laser mapping on building, laser text projection
Laser mapping uses a laser projector to trace outlines and animations that match the real shape of a surface: the edges of a facade, the windows of a tower, the silhouette of a car. Laser logo projection is the simpler cousin: your logo or message drawn in light on a wall, screen, water or haze. Both are made of vector graphics rather than video pixels, so they look crisp and saturated, but they are line art rather than photos.

For the moment a name appears: product reveals, building openings, award winners, sponsor idents, countdowns. It also works as a signature that ties a whole show together, for example a logo that builds itself out of beams at the start and returns at the finale.
On light, matte surfaces of almost any size, from a stage backdrop to a fort wall or a high-rise. It works on water screens and on haze. Dark glass and very reflective cladding are harder; we test or render them before promising a look.
Lasers draw lines and outlines at very high brightness; projection mapping shows full images and video. Lasers win on reach and colour punch at a lower cost for big surfaces; video wins when you need photos, textures or detailed storytelling. Many of our shows combine both, synced on one timeline.

Graphics are aimed at a surface, so beams end there rather than travelling into the sky, but outdoor projection may still need venue and authority approval, and anything aimed upwards may involve aviation rules. We plan beam paths and staffing as for any laser show.
Our laser animation team works in Pangolin Beyond and has mapped the Atlantis The Palm facade, the Etihad headquarters, Bab Al Qasr and a Genesis X car reveal. Because we also run video mapping, we can tell you honestly when a surface is better suited to lasers, to projection, or to both together.
You send the logo and the surface (photos, drawings or a site visit). We model the surface, create the animation, render a preview for approval, then align on site so lines sit exactly on the architecture.
A vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) is best. We redraw it as laser line art and keep it as clean as possible.
Yes. Arabic and English text both work; we adjust stroke and size so it stays readable at distance.
A static or simply animated logo is quick; a full mapped sequence on a building takes longer. Tell us your date early so there is time to design and preview it with you.
Yes, laser outlines tracing a car are a classic reveal. See our Genesis X reveal.
