Lasers
Renting a laser show is not the same as renting a laser. A projector on a stand is a box of light; a show is the programming, the haze, the safe beam positions and the person at the controls who hits the drop at the right second. Laser Saga has run laser shows from Dubai since 2015, from hotel ballrooms to stadiums and national celebrations, using a stock of more than 100 rider-spec laser units and our own LS-TITAN range. Here is how laser show rental works with us, and what to ask any supplier.
Also called: laser light show, laser beam show, laser hire, laser projector rental, show laser rental, laser lighting for events
A laser show uses high-power RGB lasers, steered by fast mirrors called scanners, to draw beams, tunnels, fans and graphics in the air or on a surface. In a beam show the light itself is the effect: haze makes each beam visible, so the room fills with moving architecture. In a graphics show the laser draws logos, words and line animation onto a wall, a screen or water. Most events use both, cued to music or timecode so every hit lands on the beat.

Lasers work best at moments that need energy and scale: the opening of a gala, a stage entrance, the countdown before a reveal, the peak of a DJ set, the finale of a national day show. They are also the most cost-effective way to make a large venue feel full, because one projector can reach the back of an arena. If the moment is quiet and intimate, a short laser cue with a logo can still frame it without overpowering the room.
Indoors: ballrooms, arenas, exhibition halls, clubs and theatres, provided the venue allows haze. Outdoors: beaches, stadiums, desert camps, rooftops and building facades, usually after sunset. Outdoors the beams can travel kilometres, which changes the power you need and the approvals involved (see our outdoor and landmark laser show page).
Watts alone do not tell you how bright a laser looks. Your eye sees green far more strongly than blue, so two "30W" projectors can look very different depending on the RGB power split. For a hotel ballroom we typically spec several mid-power units; for stadiums and skylines we use high-power systems such as LS-TITAN. Ask any supplier for the red, green and blue split, the scan speed and the control system, not just the headline wattage.

A professional laser show is planned so that beams stay above the audience or out of reach, unless the show has been measured and set up for audience scanning within exposure limits. Our crew sets safety zones, uses emergency stops and runs every cue from a manned console. Venues, civil defence and, for outdoor beams, aviation authorities may need to approve the show; requirements differ by emirate and country, so treat this as a general guide and ask us early.
We start from your run-of-show and music, build the cues in Pangolin Beyond and preview them in 3D so you can approve the look before load-in. On site our crew rigs the projectors, sets haze levels with the venue, aligns the beams, rehearses with your event team and runs the show live or from timecode. After the last cue we de-rig the same night.
Our services
For a standard indoor show, two to three weeks is comfortable. For outdoor shows, custom graphics or anything needing authority approval, allow four weeks or more. Peak season (October to March, National Day, New Year) books up first.
Yes. We convert your logo into laser vector artwork and can animate it, reveal it or draw it onto a wall, screen or water surface.
For beam effects, yes: haze is what makes the beams visible. For graphics on a surface, haze is optional. We agree haze levels with the venue in advance.
We offer dry hire of selected equipment to qualified production companies. Shows for end clients are always run by our own laserists.
Yes. We work across the UAE and in Saudi Arabia from our Saudi warehouse, and have run shows across the GCC and beyond.
